Affordable Norm Events

Affordable Norm Events

One of our missions is to allow our members affordable norm opportunities.

International Development

International Development

We intend to promote correspondence chess in countries not already affiliated to ICCF. Our International Development Officer, nominated by our Zonal Director will be in charge of these efforts.

Better Zonal Championships

Better Zonal Championships

Our Individual and Team Championships will be high-category events, available to every player but given our Tournament Rules, will allow the best players to advance to the Final Stages.

Services

Tournaments

  • We offer ICCF rated events with norms available at low cost, and strong zonal championships.

Payment facilities

  • Players may pay tournament fees in our store using Paypal, debit, or credit cards. These transactions are handled securely following industry standards. We are flexible, if you make a payment in error simply contact us for a refund.

Free events

  • Using the ICCF free-events system, we offer a total of 20 free entries to ICCF events per year. These entries cannot be used when registering to our WZ events, only tournaments primarily organized by ICCF.

For Federations

  • Our Financial system offers unlimited credit to good standing federations, balances are due on March 15 each year for expenses incurred the previous year.
  • Entries collected directly from players will generate a small refund to federations.
  • If your federation would like to join the World Zone, please review the procedure here.

Call to Action

The World Zone is recruiting players that want to volunteer and join our management team, at this time we need Authors (will be allowed to publish posts in our blog using Wordpress) and Navigators (will manage the Help Desk and assist new players on how to best use our system).
